About us

At Expose Dementia, we harness the transformative power of media and the arts to raise awareness, foster empathy, and advocate for individuals and families affected by dementia, especially in the African American community. Through innovative storytelling, creative expression, and community engagement, we strive to educate, break down barriers, reduce stigma, increase early detection and treatment, improve the quality of life for those living with dementia, and empower individuals caring for others with dementia.

Our vision at Expose Dementia is to create a world where dementia is met with understanding, compassion, and support, both in the African American community and the community at large. By leveraging the dynamic platforms of media and arts, we envision a future where every individual affected by dementia is seen, heard, and valued, and where communities come together to provide holistic care, resources, and opportunities for growth and connection.
